Dodecylphosphocholine-d38 is the deuterium-labeled form of dodecylphosphocholine, in which 38 hydrogen atoms are replaced by deuterium (²H)[1]. Dodecylphosphocholine-d38 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of dodecylphosphocholine by GC- or LC-MS[2]. Dodecylphosphocholine-d38 is commonly used in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies of membrane protein structures[3].

PagP NMR Sample Preparation[1]
This plan is based on literature, please modify it to meet your specific needs.
1. Precipitated PagP was dissolved in 5mL of 6M Gdn-HCl, 50mM sodium phosphate (Ph=6.0). The final concentration was about 0.1mM.
2. The denatured solution was diluted dropwise into 35mL of 50mM sodium phosphate solution (pH=6.0), containing a final concentration of 0.2% Dodecylphosphocholine-d38.
3. The sample was dialyzed twice in 4L of 50mM sodium phosphate (pH=6.0) for 2h and then concentrated down to 0.45mL.
4. Finally, 50μL of D2O was added, yielding a 0.8mM PagP, 16% DPC NMR sample.
