Phenylacetylglutamine (NSC203800) is a colic microbial metabolite that comes from amino acid fermentation phenylacetylglutamine is a colic microbial metabolite of amino acid fermentation and it comes from the glutamine binding of phenylacetic acid, phenylacetic acid is almost entirely from the microbial conversion of phenylalanine[1].

Phenylacetylglutamine (NSC203800) might be a potential biomarker for ischemic stroke (IS) and unfavorable functional outcomes in patients with IS[2].
