SU056 es un inhibidor de YB-1. SU056 induce la detención del ciclo celular y apoptosis en células de cáncer de ovario, así como también inhibe la migración celular en estas células. SU056 interactúa con YB-1 y suprime proteínas y vías relacionadas aguas abajo. Además, SU056 puede mejorar el efecto citotóxico del paclitaxel.
