NBDHEX es un potente inhibidor de la glutatiÓn S-transferasa P1-1 (GSTP1-1). NBDHEX induce la apoptosis de las células tumorales. NBDHEX actÚa como un agente anticancerÍgeno al inhibir la actividad catalÍtica de las GST, evitando el inconveniente de la extrusiÓn del inhibidor de la célula mediante bombas especÍficas e interrumpiendo la interacciÓn entre GSTP1-1 y los efectores de seÑalizaciÓn clave. NBDHEX también puede actuar como inhibidor de la autofagia de fase tardÍa.

NBDHEX is a potent glutathione S-transferase P1-1 (GSTP1-1) inhibitor. NBDHEX induces apoptosis of tumor cells. NBDHEX acts as an anticancer agent by inhibiting GSTs catalytic activity, avoiding inconvenience of the inhibitor extrusion from the cell by specific pumps and disrupting the interaction between the GSTP1-1 and key signaling effectors. NBDHEX can also act as late-phase autophagy inhibitor[1][2].
