(Z)-PUGNAc, is a potent O-GlcNAcase and β-hexosaminidase inhibitor with Ki values of 46 nM and 36 nM respectively[1][2].
In vitro experiment displayed that the Z form of PUGNAc was vastly more potent an inhibitor of O-GlcNAcase than the E form[1].
