TC-E 5002 (TC-E 5002) es un inhibidor selectivo de la subfamilia de histona desmetilasa KDM2/7 (los valores IC50 son 0,2, 1,2, 6,8, 55, 83, >100 y >120 μM para KDM7A, KDM7B, KDM2A, KDM5A , KDM4C, KDM6A y KDM4A respectivamente). TC-E 5002 inhibe el crecimiento de células cancerosas HeLa y KYSE-150 in vitro.
