Description of Cytochalasin B (Phomin)

Cytochalasin B (Phomin) es una micotoxina citopermeable, y está asilada de un hongo ascomiceto perteneciente al género Phoma[1-2]. Cytochalasin B es capaz de inhibir la formación de microfilamentos de actina a través de un efecto directo sobre la polimerización de la proteína citoesquelética. Al unirse al extremo de rápido crecimiento de la F-actina e interactuar con las proteínas de tapa, influye en la nucleación-alargamiento de los microfilamentos de actina[3-4].

Cytochalasin B (0.1-10 µM; 0-72 h) influyó en el metabolismo, la proliferación y la morfología de las hASCs de una manera dependiente de la dosis, en asociación con la desorganización progresiva de los microfilamentos de actina[5]. Cytochalasin B es capaz de inducir la fragmentación del DNA en varias líneas celulares[6]. Cytochalasin B (10-8-10-1M; 24-96 h) inhibió eficazmente la proliferación celular U251 de una manera dependiente de la dosis y el tiempo. Cytochalasin B aumentó la proporción de células en la fase G2/M de una manera dependiente así el ídice mitótico y disminuyendo los niveles de proteína CDC2 y cyclin B1 [7].

Cytochalasin B(Cytochalasins B se preparó en forma de suspensión en carboximetilcelulosa al 2% al 1% entre 20 (CMC/Tw); i.p.;10, 25, o 50 mg/kg; 8 días) dependeinte de la dosis aumenta la esperanza de vida de ratones Balb/c portadores de leucemias P388/ADR [8]. El tratamiento con Cytochalasin B(5 µg/ml Cytochalasin B; 30 min) de ovocitos de ratón durante la inyección intracitoplasmásica de espermatozoides (ICSI) aumenta la supervivencia embrionaria sin deterioro del desarrollo[9].
