Liarozole dihydrochloride هو مثبط P-450 وعامل حاصر لتحليل حمض الريتينويك (RA) ثبيط اسبقلاب RA ومما يزيد مستويات RA داخل الخلايا في الخلايا التي تنتج RA بشكل نشط. تم استخدام Liarozole في العلاج للظروف المختلفة التي تتميز بزيادة إنتاج المصفوفة خارج الخلية (ECM) مثل الأسماك الجلدية.
تم تحديد قيم IC50 لـP-450 I مثبطات Liarozole كـ4.2 µM، باستخدام ميكروزومات كبد الجرذ الذكر و3uM من حمض الريتينوئيك كالركيزة.
