Tyramide Amplification Bufferは、即座に使用できるバッファーであり、チロシンアミド信号増幅（TSA）技術を用いた細胞や組織の免疫染色に主に使用されます。TSA技術は、チロシンアーゼマーカーシステムに基づいており、過酸化物酵素を使用してチロシンマーカー付き抗体と蛍光標識されたチロシン代替物-チロシンアミド（tyramide）が反応し、高度な増幅フルオレセント信号が生成されます。例えば、辣味過酸化物酵素（HRP）は比較的穏やかな条件下でチロシンと過酸化水素の反応を触媒し、エポキシ基が生成します。フリーラジカルは近くのアミノ酸とtyramideを結合させて蛍光標識製品を形成します。
