LW479 silences EGFR expression in breast cancer cells through disrupting Sp1 and HDAC1 binding to EGFR promoter, and blocks EGF/EGFR signalling pathway and EGF-stimulated motility. Moreover, LW-479 attenuates breast cancer metastasis to the lung.
