Description of N6-Methyladenosine-5'-Triphosphate

N6-Methyladenosine-5-Triphosphate (N6-méthyl ATP ; m6ATP) est un analogue de l'adénosine modifié par une base, identifié comme un nucléoside mineur dans l'ARN naturel[1]. N6-Methyladenosine-5’-Triphosphate est une modification dynamique, réversible et covalente des ribonucléotides, que l'on trouve couramment dans l'ARN messager (ARNm) des eucaryotes et qui joue un rôle régulateur crucial dans l'épissage, l'exportation, la stabilité et la traduction de l'ARN[2, 3]. N6-Methyladenosine-5’-Triphosphate sert de substrat à l'ARN polymérase et est utilisé comme substitut complet de l'ATP dans les réactions de modification de l'ARNm[4, 5]. En outre, N6-Methyladenosine-5’-Triphosphate est un agoniste efficace des récepteurs purinergiques P2Y chez le cobaye et Escherichia coli[6]. Ce produit se présente sous la forme d'une solution de sel de lithium.
