Streptavidin is a biotin-binding protein derived from Streptomyces avidinii. Its non-specific binding is much lower than that of avidin, and it has a net positive relationship with egg white avidin at neutral pH. Compared with the electrical charge and containing approximately 7% carbohydrates, streptavidin protein has almost no net charge at neutral pH and does not contain carbohydrates, etc. More favorable chemical properties, so it is widely used as an antibiotic Egg white substitutes.
This product is horseradish peroxidase-labeled streptavidin, supplied in liquid form, containing 50% glycerol.
Recommended working solution concentration: 0.01-0.1µg/ml for WB (chemiluminescence method); 1-2µg/ml for ELISA, IHC/ICC, WB (substrate chromogenic method).
