Albendazole sulfone-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of albendazole sulfone by GC- or LC-MS. Albendazole sulfone is an active metabolite of the benzimidazole anthelmintic albendazole .1,2 It inhibits spore formation of E. hellem, E. cuniculi, and E. intestinalis in vitro (IC90s = <0.0001, <0.001, and <0.1 µg/ml, respectively).2
