(±)14(15)-EET MaxSpec® Standard (Synonyms: (±)14,15-EET, (±)14,15-EpETrE)

(±)14,15-EET is biosynthesized in rat and rabbit liver microsomes by CYP450. Dramatic increases in urinary (±)14,15-DiHETrE, a (±)14(15)-EET metabolite, have been documented by GC/MS in pregnancy induced hypertension. (±)14,15-EET MaxSpec® standard is a quantitative grade standard of (±)14,15-EET that has been prepared specifically for mass spectrometry and related applications where quantitative reproducibility is required. The solution has been prepared gravimetrically and is supplied in a deactivated glass ampule sealed under argon. The concentration was verified by comparison to an independently prepared calibration standard. This (±)14,15-EET MaxSpec® standard is guaranteed to meet identity, purity, stability, and concentration specifications and is provided with a batch-specific certificate of analysis.
