Cyclo(-D-Leu-D-Pro)はPseudonocardia endophytica VUK-10に由来する環状ジペプチドであり、抗真菌活性を持っている[1]。Cyclo(-D-Leu-D-Pro)は、C. orbiculareの分生子発芽に対して、著しい阻害活性を持ち、病変の発生率を低下させることができる[2]。Cyclo(-D-Leu-D-Pro)は、A. parasiticusの増殖を著しく阻害し、アフラトキシンの産生を減らした[3]。Cyclo(-D-Leu-D-Pro)は、乳酸菌培養物における環状ジペプチドの定量化の為の高分解能ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析（HRGC/MS）検出法のパラメーターの最適化の為の内部標準として使われている[4]。
