LFHP-1c bindet an PGAM5 in Endothelzellen, hemmt die Phosphataseaktivität von PGAM5 und unterdrückt die Interaktion zwischen PGAM5 und NRF2. LFHP-1c hat sowohl in vitro als auch in vivo eine schützende Wirkung.
