LY2452473は選択的なアンドロゲン受容体モジュレーター（SARM）である[1-2]。LY2452473は、前立腺癌と性腺機能低下症に関連する疾患の研究に使える[3-4]。
In vitro（体外）実験で、PC12細胞をLY2452473（0.1nM-10µM）で12時間処理した。LY2452473は用量依存的に、高度に選択的に、ARの活性に拮抗し、MAPKシグナル伝達経路を阻害した。更に、LY2452473は、cAMPシグナル伝達経路を活性化した[5]。
