NecroIr2は、イリジウム(III)錯体であり、シスプラチン耐性肺癌細胞(A549R)の壊死誘導剤です。NecroIr2はミトコンドリア内に選択的に蓄積し、酸化ストレスとミトコンドリア膜電位(MMP)の損失を引き起こします。NecroIr2は受容体相互作用型セリン/スレオニンキナーゼ3(RIPK3)および混合型分枝鎖アミノ酸キナーゼ様偽キナーゼ(MLKL)を活性化し、CDK4発現を調節することができます。
