Baxdrostat is a novel, orally active aldosterone synthase (CYP11B2) inhibitor. Baxdrostat reduces aldosterone production by highly selective inhibition of aldosterone synthase, thereby lowering blood pressure[1-2]. Baxdrostat can be used in research related to resistant hypertension and primary aldosteronism[3-4].
