Florfenicol-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of florfenicol by GC- or LC-MS. Florfenicol is a fluorinated antibiotic related to chloramphenicol and thiamphenicol .1 Florfenicol is metabolized to florfenicol amine .2,3 Formulations containing florfenicol have been used in the treatment of infectious respiratory diseases in cattle.
