Lintopride is a 5HT4 antagonist with moderate 5HT3 antagonist properties.
Lintopride significantly increases the lower oesophageal sphincter basal tone without affecting lower oesophageal sphincter physiological relaxation after swallowing. Peristaltic waves are also enhanced by Lintopride[1].
