Description of 1,3,7-Trimethyluric Acid

1,3,7-Trimethyluric acid is a methyl derivative of uric acid and a product of C-8 oxidation of caffeine by cytochrome P450 enzymes. It can be detected in urine as a marker of caffeine consumption.
