Taccalonolide A is a microtubule stabilizer, which is a steroid isolated from Tacca chantrieri, with cytotoxic and antimalarial activities[1][2]. Taccalonolide A causes G2-M accumulation, Bcl-2 phosphorylation and initiation of apoptosis[1].
