NT219 ist ein wirksamer Doppelinhibitor von Insulinrezeptor-Substrat 1/2 (IRS1/2) und STAT3. IRS1/2 und STAT3 sind die Hauptsignalverbindungen, die durch verschiedene Krebsgene reguliert werden. NT219 beeinflusst den Abbau von IRS1/2 und hemmt die Phosphorylierung von STAT3. NT219 hat das Potenzial, bei der Erforschung von Krebserkrankungen eingesetzt zu werden.
