Description of R 121919 hydrochloride

High affinity corticotropin releasing factor receptor1 (CRF1) antagonist (Ki = 3.5 nM). Reduces stress-induced elevations of plasma ACTH. Anxiolytic and antidepressant in vivo. Orally bioavailable.
