Cantrixil (TRX-E-002-1) is the active enantiomer of TRX-E-002 and a second-generation superbenzopyran compound. Cantrixil increases phosphorylation levels of c-Jun, leading to caspase-mediated apoptosis in ovarian cancer cells. Cantrixil has effective anti-cancer activity against a broad range of cancer phenotypes.
