α-Synuclein Binding Peptide |
Catalog No.GA24001 |
Cheruvara and coworkers conducted a single step selection followed by two rounds of competition selection protein-fragment complementation assay (PCA) in order to derive α-synuclein (α-syn) binders capable of inhibiting aggregation. They isolated a 10-residue peptide antagonist, corresponding to the sequence of α-synuclein binding peptide that potently inhibits α-synuclein aggregation and associated toxicity at 1:1 stoichiometry.
