In Vitro, SR10098 (compound 1) weakly upregulates Nurr1-mediated transcription in HEK293T, PC12 and SK-N-BE (2)-C cells; it activates general transcription via a Nurr1-independent mechanism[1]. SR10098 (400 μM) does not directly bind to the ligand-binding domain of Nurr1, as determined by protein NMR structural footprinting[1].
