Description of FA-Ala-Lys-OH

FA-Ala-Lys-OH is a polypeptide compound that can be used for enzymatic activity screening and drug studies[1]. FA-Ala-Lys-OH is often used as a substrate for enzyme activity assays to investigate the kinetics of carboxypeptidase Y's preference for hydrophobic P'1 amino acid residues[1]. FA-Ala-Lys-OH is used as a substrate to characterize two serine carboxypeptidases (CPD-I and CPD-II) in Aspergillus niger, and the Arg and Lys specific characteristics were examined [2]. FA-Ala-Lys-OH is used as a substrate to characterize the esterification reaction of Carboxypeptidase S-1 from Pencillium janthinellum catalyzed by methanol as a nucleophile to test the specificity[3]. FA-Ala-Lys-OH is used as a substrate to investigate the effects of phenyl guanidine hydrogencarbonate and NaCl on the catalytic hydrolysis reaction kinetics parameters of malt carboxypeptidase II[4].
