eIF2a

eIF2a (eukaryotic initiation factor 2A) is a protein catalyze the puromycin-senstive 80s preinitiation complexes formation and the poly(U)-directed synthesis of polyphenylalanine at low Mg2+. It directs binding of methionyl-tRNAi to 40S ribosomal subunits.
