8-bromo-Cyclic GMP (8-bromo-cGMP) is a cell-permeable analog of cGMP that exhibits greater resistance to hydrolysis by phosphodiesterases than its parent compound. It preferentially activates cGMP-dependent protein kinase.[1] At 1 µM-0.1 mM, 8-bromo-cGMP can inhibit acetylcholine-induced increases in intracellular calcium concentrations.[2]
