AQC (6-Aminoquinolyl-N-hydroxysccinimidyl carbamate) is a reagent used in for amino acid or protein sequence analysis by HPLC with fluorescence detection. AQC reacts with primary and secondary amino acids to yield fluorescent derivates, allowing amino acid detection at under-picomolar levels[1][2].
